Muhayman Jamil (born 1956) is an Iraqi doctor and literary translator.[1] He was born in Baghdad and moved to the UK in the 1990s where he currently works as a specialist in palliative medicine.
Jamil has translated two Arabic novels into English, both by Betool Khedairi. These are Absent and A Sky So Close. Jamil's translation of Inaam Kachachi's work was published in Banipal magazine.
